Course Name: Graduate Diploma in Computer Aided Interior Design - CAID

Intake: Total 40 out of which 10 seats are reserved for Institutional quota

Duration: 3 +1 Years Full time

Recognition: Autonomous

Collaboration - Signed MOU with South Bank Institute of technology, Queensland Australia for Conducting joint  educational program and students exchange.

Application Form available below as an attachment to download and send it on college address. Each application form must be submitted by a D.D. of Rs.750 /- in favor of "Dr. B .N . College of Architecture" payable at Pune.  Brief schedule of admission procedure is given below.

The process of admission is as follows:

A

Qualification

Minimum 45 percent marks in SSC, HSC, CBSE or equivalent examination.

Drawing Grade Examination

A student appeared for the drawing grade examination has an added advantage for the successful completion of the course but shall not be given any preference in the admission process

Aptitude for ARTS

The aptitude for arts shall be judged from the candidate's previous works in the form of paintings, murals, household decorations, pottery, photography, music, dance, dramatics etc. at the time of interview.

B

Entrance test

An aptitude test of 100 marks shall be conducted. The examination shall have objective questions. The question shall cover general knowledge, numerical, logical and visual skills. There shall be 100 questions. The examination duration shall be of 90 minutes. There shall be negative marking for wrong answers. The net marks obtained shall be positive marks minus negative marks.

Interview

First 50 candidates standing in merit in the entrance test shall be called for interviews. The candidate shall appear for interviews. The panel of interviewers shall interview the candidate and  shall be assessed for merit of marks, sports, hobbies, visual or performing arts, presence of mind, observation, communication, analytical ability, logical reasoning personality presentation, and attitude and commitment towards life, etc.

Admission Criteria

First 30 candidates as per the ranking of entrance test and interview



Waiting list of candidates as per the ranking of entrance test and interview.

Merit list for admission to CAID shall be displayed on the last day of the interviews. The candidates have to take admission to the course on the day mentioned in the admission program. The admission to the course shall be as per merit list. The names of the merit shall be announced and the candidate has to fill in admission form along with fees for the course, documents, undertaking and declaration. The candidates in the merit list who are not present at the time of the announcement of the name shall have a chance for the admission if the seats of merit are available and the admission time has not elapsed. The absent candidates shall not be entertained after the admission time is over. The merit list candidates shall be present on the waiting list admission day. They shall be given preference if there is vacancy after the waiting list candidates deposit their course fees.

The course demands 100 percent commitment of time; hence dual admission to any long term or short-term course of any university or institute or government body is not advised.
