Annual Events
Architect A. P.Kanvinde Memorial Lecture Series
Late. Shri Kanvinde occupied a unique position in the history of contemporary Indian architecture. He was a legendary, a rare personality who offered a lot through architecture and to architecture and took too little in return.
A committed modernist, he always desired of taking Indian architecture to be global and to the height of international standard. He created architecture which was timeless in character and had the urge for eternal search for innovations. He was the pioneer and master of modern architecture in India.
In spite of his incomparable contribution to Indian Architecture, very little has been done to commemorate Late. Shri A. P. Kanvinde - The Indian Master Architect.
BNCA thereby took the initiative to pay him tribute by organizing a series of events in the year 2010,
- Shri A. P. Kanvinde Memorial Lecture Series
- Wall of Fame in honor of Late Shri A.P.Kanvinde at BNCA Library
- Publication: 'Achyut Kanvinde' by the publication department at BNCA
