It is the first higher education institution of the Samstha, with the goal of promoting education and empowerment of women. The college's motto, "Empowerment of women through education," reflects the mission of the samstha.Shri Siddhivinayak Mahila Mahavidyalaya, located in Karve Nagar, Pune, was founded in 1990 under the umbrella of Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha. It is the first higher education institution of the Samstha, with the goal of promoting education and empowerment of women. The college's motto, "Empowerment of women through education," reflects the mission of the samstha.
