Government Scholarship / Freeship

Government scholarship/freeship schemes are applicable to only CAP round students. Students has to apply for various Government Scholarship/ Freeship through portal- www.maharashtra.mahadbt.gov.in

All government rules and regulations are applicable to students declared time to time.

College informs and assists the students in applying for different Government, non-government scholarships.
Students can get benefit of only one Government scholarship per year

 

Introduction:

BNCA is committed to providing students with opportunities to enhance their academic experience through site visits and industry visits. To support this commitment, BNCA offers travel scholarships to students to fund their participation in these activities. This policy outlines the criteria, procedures, and guidelines for the award of travel scholarships to students at BNCA.

Scope:

This policy applies to all students enrolled in BNCA programs, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

Types of Travel Scholarships:

The following types of travel scholarships are available to BNCA students:

  1. Site Visit Scholarship: To fund student participation in site visits organized by BNCA.
  2. Industry Visit Scholarship: To fund student participation in industry visits organized by BNCA.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for a travel scholarship, students must:

  1. Be enrolled in a BNCA B. Arch or M. Arch Program.
  2. Be participating in a site visit or industry visit organized by BNCA.

Application and Selection Process:

  1. Students must apply for a travel scholarship through their Class Teacher
  2. Applications will be reviewed by the BNCA scholarship committee, which will verify the student’s eligibility and select recipients.
  3. The scholarship committee’s decisions will be final and binding.

Award Amount and Duration:

  1. The award amount for travel scholarships will vary depending on the type of scholarship and the student’s needs.
  2. Travel scholarships will be awarded for a maximum of one site visit or industry visit per Semester for each Student.
  3. Students may reapply for a travel scholarship in subsequent Semester.

Expenses Covered:

Travel scholarships will cover the following expenses:

  1. Transportation costs (e.g. buses / Minibuses)
  2. Site visit or industry visit fees.

Reporting Requirements:

Recipients of travel scholarships must submit a report to the BNCA scholarship committee within two weeks of completing the site visit or industry visit. The report should include:

  1. A description of the site visit or industry visit.
  2. An evaluation of the experience.
  3. Recommendations for future site visits or industry visits.

Grievance Redressal:

  1. Students may appeal the scholarship committee’s decisions to the BNCA administration.
  2. The BNCA administration will review the appeal and make a final decision.

Amendments:

This policy may be amended or updated by BNCA from time to time, without prior notice.
