Edutech Club is an initiative by Archineering Cell dedicated to technology related activities, in BNCA, This club carries out activities like lecture series, workshops, interactions with experts, site visits etc Architecture course being a professional course, practical knowledge is equally essential for development of a student as a professional.Prof Poorva Kulkarni and Prof. Dharati Sote initiated this club in 2016.The platform gets extended to company owners, contractors, technical experts, manufacturers etc. This platform is helpful to bridge the gap between academics and profession.

“SHRIDHAR ATHAVALE MEMORIAL LECTURE SERIES” AT BNCA
Archineering Cell at BNCA initiated a new lecture series in 2014 which is one of the prestigious annual events at BNCA. This lecture series has been launched in the name of Architect Shridhar Athavale, as a tribute to his contribution in architectural education in Pune. He had been a pioneer to initiate architectural education in Pune and had worked as Head of the Department of Architecture at Bhartiya Kala Prasarini Sabha’s college of Architecture, Pune. In his memory the cell has started “Shridhar Athavale lecture series”, aimed to bridge the gap between the academics and the construction practices in India. The lectures are intended to provide a common platform for interaction between all the professionals in the construction industry and students. Every year, eminent architects, structural engineers and experts who have worked in the field of construction technology are invited as a speaker to guide the students and professionals in the field
