MKSSS’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture (BNCA) for Women places strong emphasis on the importance of academic research in shaping and advancing higher education. It actively encourages students to engage in research activities that foster critical thinking, analytical abilities, and effective communication—competencies that are essential for success in global academic and professional arenas.

Every year, BNCA participates in the Maharashtra State Inter-University Research Convention, Avishkar, organized by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). The convention brings together innovative, research-oriented, and aspiring minds from across the state, providing students with a platform to present their ideas and research work.

This year too, BNCA students will be participating in Avishkar 2026 – Research and Innovation Competition. The journey began at the college-level competition that was conducted on 10th Sep 2026, where students demonstrated their innovative ideas and research capabilities. Their remarkable performance led to notable success across the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels.

A total of 122 students from the undergraduate (UG) level and 8 students from the postgraduate (PG) level participated in the competition. Of these, 37 UG students and all 8 PG students were shortlisted based on their research work. Subsequently, 8 UG students and all 8 PG students were selected to participate in the Zonal Level Competition.
