Experience:
Prof. Ketaki Kadam, an alumnus of BNCA (2009) has completed her Master’s from Politecnico Di Milano, Italy with specialization in Sustainable Urbanism. She has also done a Summer School and Masterclass with Alvaro Siza and Eduardo Souto de Moura in Porto Academy, Portugal (2013). She has been part of several International Workshops and has worked as Teaching Assistant in Polimi for Barcelona and New Lynn Urban Design Workshops. She has 10 plus years of professional work experience and has previously worked with Architect Christopher Benninger in CCBA Designs Pune, IMMDesign Lab – Milan and Faraone, SRL in Italy. She is passionate about everything design and has worked on multidisciplinary projects ranging from Master Planning, Insitutional Building Design, Façade Design and Residential Architectural and Interior Design.
As BNCA faculty her interests lie in teaching Design thinking and Sustainability in the Built and Urban environment and Urban Placemaking. She has been associated with BNCA since 2018 teaching courses like Architectural Design to Third and Fourth Year, Urban Studies to Fourth Year, Building Construction and Material to Second and Third year and Working Drawing to Third Year students. She has also taught Tactical Urbanism, Graphics in Urban Design as Elective Courses.
