Archineering Cell has organized a session on Ferrocrete technology. The session will focus on understanding the various techniques, tools, methods of application, and formwork used in Ferrocement construction technology. The session will also cater to understanding the challenges faced during intensive execution work

About the speaker

Er. Nandkumar Jadhav, based in Pune, Maharashtra, is currently working as a Civil Contractor and Engineer at Deep Enterprises with vast experience in Ferrocrete construction technology. He was awarded by the Builders’ Association of India (BAI) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) for his notable work in the field of Ferrocement.

Participants can build understanding on

• Ferrocrete Hobbit cottages at Swastik Well-being Sanctuary by Nyati Group, shell thickness, scale constraints for structures having Earth and Landscaping over the roof, how these structures were visualized and executed
• Showcasing projects that are large structures in terms of scale eg Rudrana Restaurant and other structures
• Shape/Form, shell thickness and design and construction constraints and advantages for such large structures
• Constructing Ferrocrete structures on sloping sites and related constraints and advantages.
