Dr. Avanti Bambawale scored first class withm distinction in Savitribai Phule Pune University from B.N.C.A. at graduate level in 2002 and post graduate level from C.O.E.P. in 2006. She is gold medalist who topped among thirteen IITians in Master’s Thesis competition and secured “Dr. V. N. Prasad Best Thesis Award” at National Level in 2006. She secured merit in all universities throughout her academic career and is known for becoming youngest Ph.D. holder in Architecture from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2016. She has academic experience for more the fifteen years and is presently working as Associate Professor in B.N.C.A. She has presented research papers in international conferences and published more than twenty research papers in national and international journals. She has expertise in Research Tools and Techniques and published book on “Research In Architecture” in 2022. Currently along with Dr. Anurag Kashyap, Principal, B.N.C.A. she is writing book on “Sidewalk Evaluation Model and It’s Application in Pedestrian Infrastrcuture Planning” and “Peths of Pune”. Recently she has presented a research paper in National Convention on People Centric Urban Governance organised by Centre for Urban Studies and Indian Institue of Public Administration, New Delhi.
