Ar. Suvarna Akhegaonkar, an alumnus of BKPS College of Architecture, has been actively engaged in architectural practice since completing her graduation in 1996. Over the years, she has collaborated with renowned architectural firms in Pune, gaining extensive experience in designing and executing residential, commercial, and institutional projects. In 2004, she expanded her professional horizons by working with Stephen Bradbury Architects Ltd. in Kent, UK. She joined BNCA as a visiting faculty member in 2015 and has been a part of the Architectural Design team since then. After completing her Master’s in Environmental Architecture from BNCA in 2023, she transitioned into a full-time faculty role, integrating environmental and sustainability principles into architectural education and design studios.
