Ar. Sayali Kulkarni is a simple and sensitive person with a zest to learn and explore new avenues in culture, heritage and academia. By training she is a conservation architect and a heritage enthusiast from Pune, Maharashtra. Over a decade of experience in teaching, she is a passionate teacher currently associated with Dr. B. N. College of Architecture.
Her pedagogical expertise lies in linking various subjects such as History, Design, Building construction and Graphics in order to develop a holistic perspective among students.
She has been actively involved in projects dealing with social issues like – Toilet Tales, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and Urvee Gram Abhiyan.
Her keen interest in documentation and mapping of cultural resources along with her ability of holistically understand contexts mark her strengths in the field of conservation. She is a co-founder of Meraki Architecture and Conservation Studio wherein conservation projects and research in culture are concurrent.
